BRIEF HISTORY OF MADONNA MODEL SCHOOLS
Madonna Model Schools, Area 3, Garki, Abuja is the brain child of Madonna University, a famous Catholic University in the Eastern part of the country. The school was founded by Rev. Fr. Prof. E.M.P Edeh, CSSP (OFR) and run by the Sisters of Jesus the Saviour Congregation.
The school was originally known as:
The school transformed into Madonna Model schools when the primary and secondary were merged as one school.
The school commenced operation on the 27th day of September, 1999 with her pioneer Administrator, Rev. Sr. Miriam Theophilia Anigbogu and other successors.

The school had her First graduation ceremony in the year 2000 and has now celebrated her 24th graduation ceremony.
The school runs the following programs; Nursery, Primary and secondary sections in consonance with the Universal Basic Education (UBE) practices and senior secondary Education.
The school is a mixed school having both day and standard boarding facilities, and standard laboratories (computer, biology, physics and chemistry, home economics etc).
The School is known for high academic, social and moral standard. They have won several awards in different academic competitions. The children are decent and disciplined.
